No, however you may feel some pressure during the surgery.

Will I still need to wear glasses after the surgery?
Most laser surgery, no you do not have to wear glasses anymore, there are some instances when glasses may still be needed for close work, but this is un common and we would discuss this in full at your consultation.
Is laser eye surgery permanent?
It isn’t permanent as eyes naturally deteriorate and alter, however we would expect a good 10 years, age dependant.
Can you tell me more about the equipment used for laser eye surgery?
Please refer to our page on our lasers. We have the most up to date lasers, which house Wavefront technology so there are no hidden fees. We work closely with the Zeiss technicians, so much so that they are sometimes on site.
Is laser eye surgery safe?
All surgeries come with risks and these will be discussed and given in written format at your consultations, however studies have deemed it to be the safest elective procedures available, with the advanced technology used.
Do you treat one or both eyes?
If both eyes are suitable for laser, then both are done together. If you are suitable for Lens exchange then they are done one at a time.
